Fees and Billing
Counseling Fees
Individual therapy sessions are $140 per hour session. Cash, check, credit/debit, and HSA cards are accepted as forms of payment. Credit/debit/HSA payments are collected via SimplePractice, our secure online patient portal.
Sliding scale fee may be available for those who qualify, no sliding-scale openings at this time.

New clients are welcome to engage in a 20-minute phone consultation at no cost. During this call we will briefly review your therapeutic needs, ensure we are a good fit, and give you time to ask any additional questions to may have. To schedule, click here.
Session Scheduling
Sessions are a "clinical hour" or about 50 minutes in length. Sessions are conducted in-person, though telehealth options are available when needed. How often you come to therapy is your decision, and something we can discuss further at our first session.

Insurance
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, the services I offer are covered by most insurance companies that include out-of-network, outpatient psychotherapy. Clients pay out-of-pocket at the time of session and, upon your request, can be provided a bill to submit to your insurance company for personal reimbursement. Finding out if this is an option for you is your responsibility. To do this, you will need to call your insurance provider and ask “what are my out of network benefits for therapy services?”. This is known as the Fee For Service method.

Within Counseling, LLC is currently not accepting new clients who wish to pay with insurance. The services offered are only out-of-pocket or self-pay at this time.
